VORTEX-Colab was born by the collision of industry and academia forming a single movement with a purpose of technology acceleration. Officially created in February of 2019 in the form of a not-for-profit association, VORTEX combines the deep technical knowledge of five institutions – the founding members – in Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, Cryptography, Information Security, Real-Time & Embedded Computing Systems with solid innovation and acceleration methodologies.
