job description

We are looking for a user-experience (UX) designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.

  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of a user-centered design process
  • Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements
  • Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences
  • Design and deliver wireframes, prototypes, iconography, workflows, user stories, user journeys
  • Present designs to product and engineering teams, stakeholders and management, then make strategic design and user experience decisions based on business and user requirements
  • Work with web developers and engineers to deliver final products
  • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends

requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in an UX design role
  • Strong portfolio of design projects
  • Proven ability delivering exceptional user-centered outcomes to market
  • BA/BS degree in user experience design, graphic design, or related field
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design and design thinking
  • Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Comfort working in complex domain spaces
  • Experience using Agile principles towards the delivery of product
  • Business know-how: understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
